I grew up with a passion for telling stories.  As an animator, I have been blessed with a lot of wonderful opportunities to tell these stories and help others tell their own.  I started out as a writer, before transitioning to film, and ultimately animation, but my passion for telling stories has only grown.  My path to animation has given me a unique perspective on how to approach each new project, how to work with clients to help develop and realize their vision, and how to execute that vision on deadline. 

 

I am a proud graduate of the New York Film Academy's Filmmaking Program and 3D Animation Program.   I am now a part time Technical Assistant for their Animation Program in New York.  When I'm not working on a project, or at the school, I teach basic 3D Animation privately for anyone who wants to learn.  Teaching has strengthened my understanding, and no matter how much I know, there's always more to learn and always room for improvement.  With so many moving pieces and new software emerging everyday, it never gets dull.

 

Animation and VFX are a very important aspect of nearly all media today--  the less you notice it, the more it's working.
